Burnie LINC

Burnie LINC is part of LINC Tasmania, bringing together Adult Education, the State Library of Tasmania, Online Access Centres and the Tasmanian Archive and Heritage Office (TAHO).

You can borrow books, magazines and dvds from the LINC and access our large range of online resources. You can also enrol for an Adult Education course, use the Internet, access literacy services and research your family history. Our helpful staff are on hand to assist you with your enquiries.

Burnie LINC is located on the edge of the CBD, in the cultural precinct and two blocks from the beach. A Metro bus stops in Alexander Street. Short-term street parking and three public car parks are nearby. A childcare centre is located next door. A public telephone is situated over the road.

Burnie LINC has a lift available to offer ease of access to the Reference and family history resources on the mezzanine floor, and to the public meeting room and baby change facilities on the first floor.
