All publishers in Tasmania have to deposit copies of their publications with the State Library of Tasmania (as part of LINC Tasmania) and the National Library of Australia to comply with the Libraries Act 1984.
Requests for permission to publish Tasmanian Heritage and Archive items should be made in writing, by email or in a letter, giving details of the item/s required and their proposed use.There are generally no fees involved, but you do need to cite the items correctly.
