Language learning eBooks and eAudiobooks can be downloaded from eBooks Plus and read on computers or hand-held devices. They can be located here by choosing the subject 'Foreign Language Study' or by searching under the specific language eg. French
Hundreds of non-English titles can be downloaded from Project Gutenberg. Titles can be located by language, title or author.
Newspapers
The newspaper database Library PressDisplay gives access to over 1000 newspapers in 40 languages from more than 80 countries. Articles are shown in their original format, layout and original language on the date of publication. There is also a translation function which allows English titles to be read in 8 major languages.
LibraryThing
LINC Tasmania members can post and read online book reviews in most major world languages through this service. These can then be viewed through the 'Review' tab on our catalogue.
