The Tasmanian Archive and Heritage Office (TAHO) provides the Tasmanian Government with a records management framework of legislation, guidelines and advice about the making, retention and management of state records and access to them.

Our Government Recordkeeping team supports the state and local government by providing training, forums and appraisal advice, including being tasked with the important role of selecting and transferring the right records into Tasmania’s archival collection. Our services include:
