Volunteer literacy tutors provide adult literacy learning support, appropriate to the learning needs of individuals and groups, as identified by the literacy coordinator.
Volunteers need good communication, organisational and listening skills; the ability to be understanding and respectful of the learner; and a willingness to be creative, flexible and enthusiastic.

Nationally accredited training is provided at no cost to the volunteer tutor.
