On Tuesday 22nd April, between 10am – 10pm, the following services may have intermittent outages of up to 15 mins due to system maintenance: TALIS library catalogue, eBooks Plus, PC bookings, My Library, placing of holds and renewals. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
If we do not hold a copy of a particular book, report, article or other publication that you would like to view, we may be able to obtain a copy from an interstate or overseas library.
Also, if you live outside the Hobart area, we may be able to send reference items to your local library for you to view.

Yes. Charges can be viewed on the fees and charges page.
Items will generally arrive a couple of weeks after the request has been made. If an item is needed urgently, we can organise a rush service for an extra charge.
No. You are only permitted to view the item within the requesting library.
Yes. You may also request a photocopy of a journal article. You may keep any photocopies.
Yes. Trove provides access to the national database of material held in Australian libraries. National and State Libraries Australasia (NSLA) has developed lending principles to govern the sharing of resources with other libraries participating in an interlibrary loan service.
