Manuscripts are (usually) unique items such as personal documents (letters, diaries) or unpublished texts (which might later be published). They also include the records of voluntary organisations and businesses. Many manuscripts are being digitised for online access. Find more

The Tasmanian Archive and Heritage Office has rich collections of 19th and early 20th century printed music scores. Some of these scores - songs, dances, piano pieces, hymns and other pieces - have been digitised. Find more

Some types of publications (especially government reports) are increasingly being published only online. LINC Tasmania has an online repository called STORS (Stable Tasmanian Open Repository Service) which publishers can use to deposit and preserve their digital publications.
