We support the policy of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) on
free access to information. That is, 'freedom can be protected in a democratic society only if its citizens have unrestricted access to information and ideas'. ALIA's policy is in accord with the United Nations
Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
