• Inquest files 1868 - 1990 (AGD20)​

What can I see online?

​With the Tasmanian Names Index you can search and view many records, including inquests and findings from c.1828-c.1930

Index book to findings  1865-1961(SC499)

What else is there?

• Inquest files  from 1868 (AGD20)
• Inquest findings that have not been digitised(SC195)

Notes

The inquest files (AGD20)​ cannot be accessed for seventy-five years from the current date unless you have permission from the Coronial Division.

Not all inquest findings have been digitised. Findings available online end in c.1973.
