The applications are in the files of the Colonial Secretary's Office and later Chief Secretary's Departments. The oaths of allegiance and copies of certificates are Supreme Court records.

Notes
The first Act enabling the Lieutenant Governor to grant letters of denization was passed in 1835. This legislation was repealed in 1861 by the Aliens Act.
